Under the leadership of Professor David Sebag-Montefiore, RadNet Director, Professor Susan Short, Deputy Director and Dr Ann Henry, Deputy Director and in partnership with Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, the RadNet Leeds strategy will deliver individualized precision radiotherapy for the treatment of primary and previously irradiated cancer by integrating biology, functional and anatomical imaging, artificial intelligence (AI) and with novel agents through three overarching research themes:
- Theme 1 – Personalised and adaptive radiotherapy
- Theme 2 – Re-irradiation
- Theme 3 – Combining radiotherapy with novel therapies
